Read incoming texts in one place
An eligible Talkala number can have its own browser inbox for incoming texts, keeping your personal mobile number separate. The number rental must be active, Receive SMS must be on and your Wallet must cover each accepted text.
If you have multiple numbers, switch inboxes to see the messages sent to each one. Some services do not send verification codes to internet phone numbers, so receiving a code is never guaranteed. Talkala supports receiving texts; sending SMS is not available.
- Open My Numbers and select your Talkala number.
- Check that Receive SMS is on for that number and that your Wallet has enough credit.
- Open Messages, choose the number's inbox and select a conversation.
