Common questions
Use + notation in Talkala. On a carrier phone, the international access prefix depends on where you call from and your carrier; it is not always 00. That access prefix replaces the plus sign, not the 54 country-code digits.
Open the Talkala phone, enter the number and create an account when you're ready to call. You can prepare your call before signing up, and the person answering doesn't need Talkala.
Talkala currently lists calls to Argentina from $0.12/min for landlines and $0.66/min for mobiles. These are starting rates in Talkala's default public price list. A number's carrier or prefix can change the final rate, which is confirmed before calling. Prices use the default United States caller ID, not your physical location.
Eligible accounts with no available credit and no completed paid top-up may receive one free call of up to 60 seconds. The final rate for that call must be $0.99/min or less. Account and destination eligibility are checked before calling. See all free-minute conditions.
